Jon and Jess Lumer are the owners of Western Pine Realty. We signed a pledge in 2020 that we would give 10% of our income to the world’s most effective charities. So far, so good. In July of 2021 we made it our policy to immediately donate 10% of any money coming into the brokerage to a highly effective charity. We do not deduct expenses before making these donations because the amount donated also reflects money Jess earns as a salaried Shopify employee. Our total donations since that time now exceed $100,000.
